It is a combination of two medicines that helps to control blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. It helps to reduce chances of any future heart attack and stroke. It is taken with food, preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. Regular monitoring of kidney function is required while taking this medicine. This medicine may cause dehydration, so it is better to take plenty of fluids. Inform doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness, or dry mouth. Some patients may develop cough or throat irritation as a side effect while using this medicine. It may also produce dizziness initially, but this improves with time.
