BIS-ALPHA 8 TABLET contains Colloidal Bismuth (Tripotassium dicitrato bismuthate)
BIS-ALPHA 8 acts as an ulcer protectant and for treating upset stomach. It also acts as a chelating agent and has anti-secretory activity. It also has acid-neutralizing effect and does not affect acid secretion and acts as a diffusion barrier to stomach acid by acting as a diffusion barrier. It also increases mucosal secretion of prostaglandins.
